Crafted from lightweight, single-layer, flame-retardant cotton, this high-performance driving suit features an official SFI 3.2A/1 safety rating and 360-degree shoulder gussets for maximum range of motion behind the wheel. Available as a standard one-piece suit or as a separate jacket-and-pants combination, K1 offers a flexible setup for every racer. Integrated boot-cut legs fit seamlessly over driving shoes for a clean look, making the K1 Challenger Suit the ideal balance of safety, mobility, and value for both competitive drivers and weekend track enthusiasts.

Please note: Unlike Nomex® and other aramid materials that are inherently flame-resistant, FR cotton is treated with a flame-retardant chemical that can lose efficacy over the course of the garment’s lifetime.

Material (PROBAN® Cotton):
FR Cotton, including its branded counterpart, Proban®, is a reliable flame-resistant material that provides consistent fire protection. While FR Cotton is treated with a flame-retardant chemical for initial resistance, this treatment may diminish over time with washing.

Certification: SFI 3.2A/1
Generally, single-layer suits have a Thermal Protection value of six. Suits rated to 3.2A/1 are tested for up to 6 seconds in simulated lab fires, offering approximately 3 seconds of fire protection against second-degree burns.
