This wheelbase is built for intermediate to advanced sim racers who want a high-performance direct drive system that translates subtle feedback into real driving advantages. Ideal for competitive drivers, endurance racers, and enthusiasts upgrading from belt or gear-driven systems.

The ARES 20 Platinum uses a proprietary skew-pole direct drive motor paired with a 23-bit optical encoder to deliver highly accurate and stable force feedback. The optical encoder provides significantly higher precision than traditional magnetic systems, reducing inconsistencies and improving steering feel. A torque slew rate up to 9.5 Nm/ms ensures rapid response to on-track changes, while minimized cogging torque keeps rotation smooth and controlled. The dual skewed pole design reduces vibration and noise, improving overall NVH performance. Built from aerospace-grade aluminum, the chassis supports durability and efficient heat dissipation. The integrated Conspit Link 2.0 software allows detailed tuning, real-time monitoring, and quick switching between presets. The Conspit ARES 20 Platinum direct drive wheelbase also supports both CDR and CDP quick release systems for flexible compatibility.

On track, the difference is immediate. Steering feels clean, direct, and highly responsive, with no graininess or delay. Small details like tire slip, curb texture, and weight transfer come through clearly without overwhelming noise. The fast torque response helps correct slides earlier and maintain control in high-speed sections. During long sessions, performance remains consistent without fading or overheating. The result is a driving experience that feels connected, predictable, and confidence-inspiring.
